Good day, I need help with my Acer Aspire A315-41-R3BW 'NX.GY9AA.009' I got it as a gift not working when I removed the backplate where the memory is I see one 4GB 2Rx16 PC4-2400T-SK0-11 and the other 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2666V-SA1-11 none of which is working when I test them one by one... what should I do now... help please!

When I plug the power adapter the power led come on, when I press the button to turn on the laptop a green light appear the fan start spinning for less than 5sec it turn off.. what's the correct memory?. I know it use ddr4 sdram but which one to buyChristopher Ed REPLY29 Aug 2020 - 21:08

The amd 2500U cpu has a System Memory Specification of 2400MHz so the module that you need will have these specs:
DDR4 PC4-19200 DDR4 2400 Mhz 1.2V
you can get one or two dims of 8 GB. If you want to go with 16 GB buy a kit as it works better in dual channel.
